Starting & Growing a Small Business in Huntingdon County

A free event open to the public will be held 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the Sill Business Incubator in Huntingdon for aspiring entrepreneurs, titled, “Starting & Growing a Small Business in Huntingdon County.”

Juniata College, Startup Alleghenies and Kdan Mobile will co-host the event and outline different resources that entrepreneurs have access to in the county.

Starting your own business is not an easy task. Whatever you are doing or wish to do, must be well planned, researched, designed, organized, tested and implemented. If you are willing to perform the work necessary to be successful, there is an opportunity for your business to exist. As long as there are needs, there will always be opportunities to start right here, right now.

Wei-Chung Wang, vice president of global marketing and strategy at Kdan Mobile, which has an office in Huntingdon, and Joey DiGangi, a 2018 Juniata College graduate and owner-operator of AssureTech LLC, who went through the Startup Alleghenies student entrepreneurship program, will also speak at the event.
