CAD Basics Class – Part 1

CAD (Computer Aided Design) is the use of computer software to design and document a product’s design process. Engineering drawing entails the use of graphical symbols such as points, lines, curves, planes, and shapes. Essentially, it gives a detailed description of any component in a graphical form.

In this class, we will use an online CAD program called Onshape. In the first part of this class, we will explore the program layout and get familiar with the different tools that are available.

During the second class, we will dive a bit deeper by creating multi-part assemblies. There is limited seating, reserve your seat with our Facebook link today!
