Craft It, Pitch It, Win It! contest is awarding up to $4,000 to crafters, makers and creators
If you are a maker and could use some marketing dollars, join this marketing pitch competition.
The Altoona LaunchBox Supported by the Hite Family and the Penn State Altoona Sheetz Fellows Program are offering a Marketing Pitch Competition for makers, crafters and creators looking to increase their marketing footprint. A cash prize of up to $4,000 is up for grabs to be used toward their marketing budget. The deadline to apply is March 13.
“Marketing is a key to growth and success, and this contest is going to provide a financial means for a business in the region,” Jessica Lattanza, Assistant Director, Altoona LaunchBox supported by the Hite Family said.
If your business needs to up-level its marketing efforts and enhance its strategy, this contest is for you. Maybe you need help with a logo, your website or social media, and your budget is tight. If selected as a finalist, you will be given training materials and four weeks to prepare your pitch presentation.
The 8-minute presentation will be judged by a panel of independent judges who will select the winner.
To quality, your business needs to be in Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon or Somerset County, and your need to be a crafter, maker or creator with a registered business entity with the State of Pennsylvania. That’s it!
The deadline to apply is March 13, 2023, at 5 pm. The participants will be announced on March 15, and the final pitch event will be held on April 12.
