Ben Franklin Technology Partners has opened the application window for the next TechCelerator Program. This virtual 10-week Business Boot Camp is for entrepreneurs and startup companies who are ready to take the first step in launching their businesses. The deadline to apply is March 17.

“It’s for the founder who is developing a business idea, to those testing or starting to commercialize and want to fine-tune their business model through customer discovery, coaching, lessons and new connections with experts and other entrepreneurs,” Julie Bratton, portfolio and operations coordinator at Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Central & Northern PA said.

The program is packed with topics that will help develop your business—digging into the business model, market insights, value propositions and the basics of financials, to name a few.

The program is offered at no cost to the participants. It includes virtual classes every week, weekly one-on-one coaching sessions and weekly homework to provide the framework to launch and grow your business.

Let’s skip to the good part… At the end of the 10-week program, participants will have an opportunity to present an investor pitch to a panel of judges for a chance to win up to $30,000.

As a TechCelerator participant, you will:

  •   Explore the likelihood of your business’s success and learn to minimize risks
  •   Develop a working business model and gain market insights
  •   Participate in one-on-one mentoring with business coaches from Ben Franklin, as well as Penn State and Gannon University’s Small Business Development Centers
  •   Expand your network and engage with other entrepreneurs
  •   Create an investor pitch and present it to a panel of local judges for an opportunity to win up to $30,000

Participants must be in ben Franklin’s 32-County footprint to apply. The deadline to apply is March 17, 2023.
