Sometimes you don’t have to quit your day job to pursue your daydream. Just ask Rebecca Cramer. Her full-time job as a compensation claims adjuster has made it possible for her to branch out to start a side gig as a hypnotherapist.
After experiencing hypnotherapy personally and reaping its benefits, Rebecca Cramer knew she had to learn how to help others. She brings this skillset to Somerset County with 360 Fresh Hypnosis.
“The pandemic helped launch 360 Fresh Hypnosis into the digital age. Offering virtual sessions expands her reach and will allow for exponential growth… She has a vast understanding of the mind and her authenticity to want to help others runs just as deep. She is bringing a new level of relaxation to the Alleghenies,” says Startup Alleghenies coach Matt Reckner.
Teaming up with Startup Alleghenies coach Matt Reckner helped her to build a solid foundation for her business. “Matt helped me craft my business plan, sort out my ideas, provide resources and people to collaborate with,” Cramer said. “Right now, I am still working, and this is my side gig. With Matt’s help, I am confident I’ll be able to turn this into my full-time career.”
“Everyone has a subconscious mind and can benefit from hypnosis,” Rebecca Cramer said. “We start with progressive relaxation to get the body and mind into a relaxed state before getting to the hypnotic state. Hypnosis bypasses the brain’s critical factor, like putting down the firewall and allowing suggestive statements to become part of the subconscious mind.”
360 Fresh Hypnosis offers in-person and virtual sessions that can help clients reach various goals like stopping a smoking habit or starting a weight loss journey.
“The pandemic helped launch 360 Fresh Hypnosis into the digital age. Offering virtual sessions expands her reach and will allow for exponential growth,” Reckner said.
He said that he is impressed by Cramer’s desire to help people. “She has a vast understanding of the mind and her authenticity to want to help others runs just as deep. She is bringing a new level of relaxation to the Alleghenies,” Reckner added.
Cramer has advice for others who are grinding at their full-time job while hustling with a side gig. “Keep at it. It can feel overwhelming but if it makes you happy and you find joy in it, then you can’t not succeed.”
