Tips to make 2023 the best year for your business

In the five years since Startup Alleghenies began to help entrepreneurs turn their dreams into growing businesses, its coaches have helped more than 350 new businesses launch, and more than 500 new employees find jobs in their hometowns. In that time, the coaches have accumulated a lot of expert business advice for people growing their own business, and that advice is especially meaningful at the beginning of a brand new year.

Here’s some tips, advice and challenges to start off 2023:


My advice for the new year would be to scroll less and think more. I have found that when I let myself get ‘bored’ and don’t automatically pick up my phone, I tend to think more critically about my business and have had some epiphanies in that downtime.
