Federal Programs to Fund Innovative Small Businesses:SBIR/STTR 101 and IPart Information Session

Presented by Andrea Johanson, Ph.D., Senior Principal Consultant, BBC Entrepreneurial Training & Consulting & Kelly Wylam, Director, Innovation Partnership (PA’s SBIR/STTR Assistance Program)

Date: Wednesday, April 18, 2018
Time: 1:30 – 4:30 P.M.
Location: 243 Technology Center, 200 Innovation Blvd, Innovation Park

The government’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs make over $2.5 billion in high-risk, non-dilutive (i.e. free) capital available to innovative small companies annually. The process is complex with a steep learning curve, but the impact of receiving $millions is worth the effort. The program is designed to help attendees decide if SBIR/STTR funding is right for them.

Please note: There is no charge to attend this session; however, space is limited.

Kelly Wylam will be holding office hours the morning of April 18th for those who are interested in having a 1-on-1 discussion about SBIR/STTR and the IPart program.  To make your appointment please contact Lauren Hiebler at lmh5439@psu.edu
